'Dippity Do' Strawberry

Botanical Name: Fragaria × ananassa
Description: Known for its huge berries, excellent flavor and sturdy stem, this Strawberry is a great choice for the home gardener that loves chocolate dipped treats. I love the contrast between the rich red color and the dark or white chocolate I dip it in. The resulting flavor and aroma is sure to please. Very hardy and easy to grow, plant Dippity Doo in a sunny well drained location. This mid-season variety produces all its berries in June / July. Mulch plants with straw for cleaner fruit and moisture retention.
